Freshman Noelle Lee and Ana Lukner were the only Spartan winners in singles action. Playing in the number-one position, Lee defeated Lauren Fitzgerald of Hawaii, 6-4, 6-3.
San Jose State, losers of five in a row, dropped to 6-14 on the season while Hawaii improved to 6-15.
The Spartans conclude their three-day, three-match competition at Nevada by taking on the host Wolf Pack on April 14.
