Jarnigan Promoted To Associate Athletics Director
Liz Jarnigan is now the Associate Athletics Director for Student Services for the Spartans.
San Jose In an on-going effort to improve the academic experience for San Jose State student-athletes, Liz Jarnigan has been promoted to the Associate Athletics Director for Student Services.
In a joint effort with the Division of Student Affairs, Jarnigan will have oversight of many areas including compliance, academics, student services, life skills, athletic advising and tutor and learning specialists. She spent the past year as the Director of Student-Athlete Success Services for the Spartans.
Prior to her arrival at San Jose State, Jarnigan worked seven years at the University of Tulsa as the Associate Athletics Director for Student Services and the Coordinator of Student Services. She supervised the academic and student services program for the Tulsa Athletics Department.
Jarnigan earned her master’s degree from Fort Hayes State University and an undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College.
