McDonald Named Spartan Foundation Executive Director

Ken McDonald, Assistant Athletic Director for Development, has added the title of Spartan Foundation Executive Director. The announcement was made Thursday night by Athletics Director Tom Bowen during a special Blazer Brigade reception at President Don Kassing's home. The Blazer Brigade recognizes those Athletics Department donors at the $2,500 level and above.

"We are very pleased to announce Ken as the new Executive Director of the Spartan Foundation," said Bowen. "He has been a driving force behind our successful fund raising efforts and scholarship drives. We trust that he will continue to raise the bar for us."

The Blazer Brigade has grown from 42 members to 137 under Bowen's guidance.
