Seidman Named Head Strength and Conditioning Coach
SAN JOSE--Bruce Seidman has been named the San Jose State University head strength and conditioning coach as announced by John Twining, senior associate athletics director.

Seidman comes to San Jose State from Idaho State University where he spent the past four years as the head strength and conditioning coach. He was responsible for all phases of strength, speed and conditioning for 11 sports and raised over $35,000 to rebuild and redesign the weight room.
Prior to his stint at Idaho State, he spent almost two years at Brigham Young as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Seidman also worked as graduate assistant at Texas and interned at Virginia, Delaware and Michigan.
Seidman replaces Kim Sword who is now the head strength and conditioning coach at UCLA.
Seidman is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is certified by the NSCA as a strength and conditioning specialist.
Seidman graduated from the University of Delaware in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education. He received his Master of Education degree in kinesiology from Texas in 1995.
