SJSU & Ticketmaster Agree to More Outlets for Spartan Football Tickets

San Jose State University, Spartan Shops, Inc., and Ticketmaster have entered into an agreement that provides the opportunity for a greater availability of Spartan football tickets to the buying public in the Bay Area and Northern California. The announcement was made by Darren Coelho, ticket manager for San Jose State University athletics.

Under the agreement, Ticketmaster will sell tickets to all future Spartan Stadium events. Spartan Shops, Inc., also has worked out a partnership with the Compaq Center at San Jose to sell without a service charge all Spartan Stadium event tickets and provide day-of-game box office staffing.

"We are proud that San Jose State University football has selected Ticketmaster as its ticketing service," says Ann Mooney, executive vice-president/general manager of Ticketmaster Northern California. "We look forward to providing sports fans throughout the Bay Area ease and convenience in purchasing tickets to SJSU football."

Spartan football tickets now can be purchased without a service charge at the San Jose State University Athletic Ticket Office located at the corner of 7th and Alma streets and at the Compaq Center at San Jose ticket office.

In addition, individuals can buy tickets with a service charge by calling Ticketmaster’s "Charge-by-Phone," (408) 998-TIXS; online at ticketmaster.com; or by visiting a Ticketmaster outlet located inside select Wherehouse, Tower Records, Rite Aid and Ritmo Latino stores.
