32nd Annual President’s Cup Golf Tournament

Grab your sticks and head to Cinnabar Hills Golf Club Monday, October 1st. Come out to join the farewell chorus for Don Kassing, in his final tournament as San Jose State’s president. The President’s Cup has evolved into one of the most successful events of its kind in the South Bay Area. Serving as a major fundraising tool for Spartan student-athletes’ scholarship support, it brings together many high profile corporations and businesses in Silicon Valley. A top priority is to provide each and every participant with a memorable day of golf, fun, and camaraderie. Your enjoyment and satisfaction are of the utmost importance!

Spartans Forever

Spartans Forever is the name of the athletic department's Planned Giving program. The mission of Spartans Forever is to ensure that the university will provide in perpetuity the opportunity for outstanding student-athletes to experience what it means to be a Spartan.

The moneys and gifts received through Spartans Forever is the foundation for the athletics department's drive to consistently provide scholarships to our student-athletes. Gifts can be made through endowments, trusts, bequests, annuities, IRA designations, insurance policies, gifts of real estate and other methods. The sole purpose of these future gifts is to establish a significant athletics endowment that will nurture and preserve Spartan Athletics . . . forever.

Spartan Road Shows

Speaking of the road ahead, the recently concluded scholarship drive showed, once again, that Sparta extends far beyond the immediate Bay Area. Thank you to faithful Spartans from Sacramento, Stockton, Southern California, and all across the country. To show our appreciation, Director of Athletics, Tom Bowen, along with selected staff and coaches will continue to bring Sparta to you with the Spartan Road Show.
