Spartan Hall of Fame water polo player Howard Ruweler dies at age 80
Palo Alto, Calif.-----Howard Ruweler, a San Jose State University water polo star and member of the school's Sports Hall of Fame, died opn April 28 at age 80.

Ruweler lettered in water polo in 1946, 1947 and 1948 and was among the school's first stars in the sport.
Memorial services are set for Saturday, May 7, at 11:00 a.m., at the Roller Hapgood Tinney Funeral Home, 980 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pathways Hospice Foundation, 585 N. Mary Avenbue, Sunnyvale, CA, 94085.
