The San Jose State Athletics Department invites all local business owners in the the San Jose/Santa Clara area to an after hours gathering on June 22 to meet the new leadership of Spartan Athletics. San Jose State Director of Athletics Thomas Bowen,

The gathering will be held in the Simpkins Stadium Center Gold Room on June 22. The reception begins at 6 p.m. Heavy hors d’ouevres and refreshments will be served.
Bowen will speak to business leaders about establishing (or reestablishing) working relationships between the Spartans and the community.
“Before you go asking a business community to support you it’s important to shake a hand and ask a few questions,” said Bowen. “We’ll explain some group season ticket options, and some corporate partnership possibilities. We have a new attitude that we are excited to share with those of interest.”
Bowen also has the vision of shared success. “What would be more worthwhile than an Athletics Department celebrating with its community a culture of champions which we are cultivating?”
