Spartans Score 6-1 Women's Tennis Triumph

Los Gatos, Calif.-----San Jose State University won singles matches from the number one through five positions en route to a 6-1 non-conference women’s tennis victory over Southern Utah University at the Los Gatos Racquet Club.

Ana Lukner, Coral Silverstone, Noelle Lee, Helen Van and Whitney Vasu all posted straight set victories for San Jose State.

The Spartans’ doubles combinations of Lukner and Lee and Van and Silverstone also won by identical scores of 8-2.

San Jose State raised its dual meet record to 5-7. Southern Utah dropped to 1-2.
