Spencer Named San Jose State Athletics Ticket Manager

SAN JOSE -- Tracy Spencer has been named the new San Jose State Athletics Ticket Manager. Chuck Bell, director of athletics at San Jose State, made the announcement.

Spencer will handle all day-to-day aspects of the San Jose State Athletics Ticket Office including season and game day tickets for football and basketball. She will also handle all ticket requests for the 2000 Women's College Cup at Spartan Stadium, December 1 & 3.

Spencer comes to San Jose State from Tulsa where she was the assistant ticket manager for the 1999-2000 school year. She assisted with all ticket sales for all Tulsa athletic events and Donald W. Reynolds Center and Skelly Stadium sponsored events.

Prior to working at Tulsa, Spencer spent a year as the assistant ticket, marketing and event manager at Cornell University. She was responsible for ticket sales, advertising sales, game day promotions and event operations. Spencer also spent the 1998 summer as a ticket sales intern for the New England Blizzard.

Spencer graduated from Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pa., in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in coaching. She received her Master of Education Degree in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University in 1998.
