Erica Moston won the 2007 Western Athletic Conference Golf Championship after posting a three-day 217 total for 54 holes. She was seven shots better than the two second-place finishers.

Moston posted the best score of the final round with a two-under par 70 to win the individual title. She had 29 pars over the last 36 holes of the championship.

Moston also helped propel the Spartans to a second-place finish in the team results. She also was honored by being named a first-team All-WAC selection.

The Spartans await notification for NCAA Regional Championship participation on Monday, April 30. Regional championship action is Thursday through Saturday, May 10-12, in Baton Rouge, La., Ann Arbor, Mich., and St. George, Utah. Twenty-four teams will advance to the NCAA Championships, May 22-25, in Daytona Beach, Fla.
