Jennifer Senftleben has been named the Spartan Foundation Athlete of the Week as she helped San Jose State to a second-place finish at the MCM Elegante Lobo Classic and was named to the all-tournament team over the weekend.

In the three matches, Senftleben averaged 5.00 kills, 2.33 digs and 0.58 blocks per game. She had 60 kills in 12 games played. She had two double-doubles - 16 kills and 10 digs against Grambling State and 21 kills and 13 digs against New Mexico. Senftleben hit .293 for the weekend, including .400 against Grambling and .386 versus Florida Atlantic.

During the Grambling match, Senftleben moved into sixth place on the San Jose State career kill list. She enters play this weekend with 1,334 career kills, passing Stephanie Pascucci who had 1,287 kills from 1999-2002. Senftleben needs just 26 kills to pass Lisa Ice-Crespo for fifth place.
