Robert Owens has been named the Spartan Foundation Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance for the men’s basketball team last week.
Owens came off the bench in the win over Pacific and led all scorers with a career-best 22 points. He was 8-of-12 from the field including 6-for-8 from three-point range. Owens was instrumental in keeping San Jose State in the game in both halves.
San Jose State next plays at Utah Valley this Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. MST.
