Natalie White has been named the Spartan Foundation Athlete of the Week for her performance in the Spartan women's basketball victory over Sacramento State last Friday evening.

On her historical night, White scored the game-winning field goal with no time remaining to give San Jose State the 49-48 win.  White released a turnaround jumper from six feet on the left side of the key with 0.5 seconds left on the clock.

During the game, White became the 12th Spartan women's basketball player to score 1,000 points in her career.  She hit a three-pointer from 22 feet at the top of the circle, her 129th of her career, to give her 1,000 points. White enters Thursday night's game with 1,002 career points.

San Jose State next plays at Kansas this Thursday night at 7 p.m. CST/5 p.m. PST.
