Natalie White is this week’s Spartan Foundation Athlete of the Week for her performance this past week for the women’s basketball team.

White set the school record for three-pointers attempted a game with 15 at Washington State Sunday afternoon.  She broke the school record of 14 three-pointers attempted set by Kari Steele in 1997 and Gretchen Seeley in 1994.  White made a career-best six three-point field goals in the game.

White led the Spartans in scoring with 25 points, her fifth 20-point scoring game of her career.  She was 9-of-21 from the field and made one of her two free throw attempts.  White added four rebounds, three steals and two assists.

The team’s leading scorer, White has scored in double-figures in every game this season and averages 16.5 points per game.  She also leads the team in rebounding with 69, 6.9 per game.

San Jose State returns home this Wednesday for a match-up against Big 12 opponent Kansas.  Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., in The Event Center.  The Spartans also travel to Santa Clara on Friday for a Rivalry Series game in the Leavey Center at 7 p.m.
