Deanna Lowry scored four goals, including the game-winner with 44 seconds remaining in the first extra period, to lead eighth-ranked San Jose State to an overtime upset of fourth-ranked California, 14-13, at The Aquatics Center last Saturday, February 10. The senior attacker scored twice in the second quarter and once in the third, with the game-winner coming on a man-up situation.  It was the first fourth-goal match of Lowry's career, and just the second four-goal match by a Spartan in 2007.

The victory was San Jose State's first-ever win over California, with the fourth-ranked Golden Bears the highest-ranked opponent the Spartans have ever knocked off in the program's 10-plus seasons.

Lowry is currently tied for second on the team with nine goals scored on the 2007 season. She is also 14th all-time at San Jose State with 49 goals.
