Michelle tied the school record on the beam as she helped the San Jose State women’s gymnastics team to its second-highest team score in school history with a 195.300 at Sacramento State on Sunday.
Minotti scored a 9.900 on the beam to win the event and tie two other Spartan gymnasts for the top beam score in school history and contributed to the beam score of 48.875 which ties for the sixth-best score in school history. Minotti scored a season-best 9.800 on vault to place second in the event. The Spartans scored a 48.750 on vault which is the fourth-best score in school history. She also scored a career-best 9.850 on bars to place second in the event and helped the Spartans to a 48.900 on the bars which is also the fourth-highest total in school history.
