Kyle has been named the Spartan Foundation Student Athlete of the Week for his performances last week at the 2009 NAPA Auto Parts WAC Tournament.

Bellows was named to the all-tournament team for his performances last week.  A two-time selection to the team, Bellows hit .500 (7-14) with two doubles, two home runs, five RBI and seven runs scored in four starts during the tournament.  He had a 1.071 slugging percentage and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 22 chances.

San Jose State concludes the campaign, which resulted in its first WAC regular-season crown since 2000, with an overall record of 41-20. It was the first 40-win season since 2002, and a fourth straight year with an above-.500 mark.
