Stephan Stallworth has been named the Spartan Foundation Student-Athlete of the Week after his performance last week for the men’s golf team at the Pacific Invitational.

Stallworth shot an eight-under 208 to tie for 13th place at the Pacific Invitational.  He also helped the Spartans set a school record for team scoring in a 54-hole event with a 19-under par, 845 total.  San Jose State tied for sixth place in their final tournament of the fall season.

During the tournament, Stallworth had 14 birdies and an eagle over the 54 holes.  He played his last 10 holes of the tournament at seven-under par with five birdies and an eagle for a 67 in the third round.  Stallworth shot a 69 in the first round and a 72 in round two.
