Jared Strubeck
Name: Jared Strubeck

During the game, Strubeck became the San Jose State career record holder for field goals made as he was successful on field goals of 30, 37 and 41 yards. He now has 41 fields gals made since 2005, breaking the old San Jose State record of 39 set by Joe Nedney from 1991-94.
Strubeck also tied the San Jose State game field goal made record for the fifth time this season with his three field goals. No other Spartans has as many three field goal games in his career. It was also the ninth mulit-field goals made game in Strubeck’s career.
On kickoffs, Strubeck averaged 68.3 yards per kickoff and had one touchback.
Strubeck showcased his punting abilities with his first collegiate punt in the game. He punted out of field goal formation and recorded a 36-yard punt to pin the Vandals on their own 2-yard line late in the fourth quarter.
For his career, Strubeck moved into third place on the San Jose State career scoring list with 227 points and tied for 18th on the WAC career field goal made list with 41.
