Krale scored a goal and assisted on the game-winning goal in the Spartans women's soccer team's 2-0 win over Nevada in the semifinals of the WAC Tournament. The San Jose, Calif. native helped the Spartans reach the WAC tournament for the first time since 2000. The team was seeking its first conference title and NCAA Tournament appearance since 2000, but fell to Fresno State, 1-0 in the finals. An appearance in the conference title game seemed improbable after the team started the season 0-10-2, but the Spartans showed tremendous courage and determination to reach the conference championships thanks to a 6-1-1 run over the final eight games before the finals. The San Jose State women's soccer team concludes the 2005 season with a 6-12-3 overall record and an impressive 4-2-1 record in the WAC.
