Lester led the Spartans to a pair of road shutouts last week at the HBU Classic in Houston, Texas. The Texas native faced 12 shots and made just three saves.
Lester made one save in a 2-0 victory over host Houston Baptist last Friday and added two more in a 1-0 defeat of Howard on Sunday. The sophomore transfer from SMU has now recorded three straight shutouts and four in all this season.
Lester and San Jose State have not allowed a goal over the last 290 minutes, going an undefeated 2-0-1 during this stretch. The Spartans have posted three straight shutouts, and back-to-back clean sheets on the road, for the first time since 2000.
The Spartans return home this Thursday night for a non-conference match with Sacramento State at Spartan Stadium beginning at 7 p.m.
