Sammy Spartan encourages you to support San Jose State Athletics for the upcoming 2008-09 school year. 2008 football season tickets are on sale now. The Spartans kickoff another exciting home season with non-conference games against UC Davis on August 30 and San Diego State on September 13. The home schedule also features nationally televised WAC games against Boise State and Fresno State, as well as WAC visits from Utah State and Louisiana Tech. You will not want to miss cheering for the young men that head coach Dick Tomey has assembled to proudly wear our Blue and Gold as we celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Spartan Stadium. Please call the Spartan Athletic Ticket Office at (408) 924-SJTX or (877) SJSU-TIX to further assist you with any inquiries that you may have.
Practices for our fall sports begin the first week of August. Be sure to support our volleyball team who plays at Spartan Gym and the men's and women's soccer teams who play at Spartan Stadium and SJSU Field. Men's and women's cross country teams begin competition in September. The men's and women's golf teams will play a fall schedule of four to five tournaments beginning in September. Women's tennis will play a fall schedule at selected tournament in September and October.
