Witherall named WAC "Men's Golfer of the Week"

Witherall, a senior from Carlsbad, Calif., matched his best finish of the season, tying for seventh place at the UC Irvine Anteater Invitational. Witherall’s three-over-par 219, helped the Spartans to a second-place finish. He was also the highest WAC finisher among the 15 competitors.
The three-year letterman currently leads the team in stroke average at 74.29 heading into the 56th annual Western Intercollegiate, APril 8 & 9, at the Pasatiempo Golf Course in Santa Cruz, Calif.
