Women's golf 5th after 36 holes at Oregon Duck Invitational
Lebanon, Ore.-----The San Jose State University women's golf team is in fifth place after 36 holes of the Oregon Duck Invitational.

The Spartans posted a 612 team total on the par 72, 5,975-yard Mallard Creek Golf Course. San Jose State was slightly better during the morning round with a 305 score and completed the day’s play with a 307.
University of Washington, the only team to break 300 in both rounds, holds the team lead with a 586 heading into the final 18 holes on March 29. Idaho is second at 602 followed by USF at 605 and Minnesota at 611.
Susannah Laing of USF is the only player in the 83-player field under par at 143. Kim Welch of Washington State and Lindsay Morgan of Washington are tied for second at 146.
Helle Gram, tied for eighth at 149, is the top San Jose State golfer.
