Women's tennis beats UC Santa Cruz, 6-1

Los Gatos, Calif.-----San Jose State University won five of six singles matches en route to a 6-1 victory over UC Santa Cruz in a non-conference women’s tennis match.
The Spartans ended a four-match losing streak to improve their record to 2-4.
Freshmen Noelle Lee and Ana Lukner switched singles positions with Lee scoring a 6-1, 6-0 straight set win over Sara Morgan at number-one singles. Lukner added a 6-2, 6-0 win over Katie Frick.
UC Santa Cruz, which dropped to 4-3, picked up its only point in the match when Noreen Montgomery defeated Emily Kuo, 6-2, 6-2 at number-five singles.
