The Hukilau Restaurant located at 230 Jackson Street in the heart of San Jose's Japantown is the new home for recording the Brent Brennan Radio Show on KLIV (1590 AM, San Jose) every Wednesday during the 2018 football season.
The first Brent Brennan Radio Show at the Hukilau is Tuesday, August 28 at 6:00 p.m. All other shows this football season will be taped on Wednesday of game week.
Nearby off-street parking is available at the North 6th & Jackson Street Parking Lot. There is a $2.00 fee to park in the lot. Metered parking is enforced in the neighborhood until 6:00 p.m. on weekdays.
Host Justin Allegri, the voice of the Spartans, will interview San Jose State's head coach for his latest news and views on the Spartans and their next opponent. Each show will include guests from the San Jose State football team and coaches and staff from the world of Spartan Athletics.
San Jose State football fans can pack the restaurant for each show that airs on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. on 1590 KLIV, San Jose's Country Gold. Fans and followers can submit questions, win prizes courtesy of Spartan Sports Properties and enjoy the Hukilau's distinctive menu of appetizers and main course specialties with a Hawaiian flair and the exotic drink offerings during the Brent Brennan Radio Show.
KLIV also carries a live Brent Brennan radio segment every Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. Host Tony Michaels gets the week going with his questions for the Spartans' new head coach.
