San Jose State University football head coach Brent Brennan is a man on the move, especially two days before the August 30 season opener against UC Davis. Game time is 7:00 p.m. in San Jose's CEFCU Stadium.
KLIV 1590, 6:30 a.m. with Tony Michaels
Besides leading the team through a two-hour practice on the field, Coach Brennan's day starts no later than 6:30 a.m. for his weekly visit with KLIV's Tony Michaels. Tune in to 1590 AM, San Jose's Country Gold for the early update on the Gold, White and Blue Spartans.
KNBR 680, 8:35 a.m. with Murph & Mac
Then, before practice shift your attention down the dial to KNBR 680, The Sports Leader, as Brian Murphy and Paul McCaffrey welcome Coach Brennan to the Murph & Mac Show at 8:35 a.m. Though Murph and Coach Brennan are UCLA alums, the conversation definitely will be focused on the Spartans and their quest to start the season on a winning note.

Even two days before facing UC Davis, practice remains open and you can see Brennan and the Spartans tune up their final preparations for the Aggies.
