One of the top players in Mountain West women's tennis history, Kristina Hollander joins the San Jose State University women's tennis staff as the assistant coach. Spartans head coach Chad Skorupka made the announcement.
For Hollander, she will be coaching at the college level for the first time after serving as a tennis professional in Connecticut, Nevada, New York and Puerto Rico.
"I am very excited for the team and San Jose State to have a person like Kristina join our program. She was a top player at UNLV and she will help this team reach its goals on and off the tennis court," Skorupka said.
The 2010 UNLV graduate was a seven-time Mountain West women's tennis all-conference player. She was a three-time honoree in singles and four-time all-conference award winner in doubles.
