SJSU Basketball Tip-Off Dinner Set For October 23

SAN JOSE, Calif.  – SJSU men's basketball head coach Jean Prioleau and women's basketball head coach Jamie Craighead are excited to offer an invitation to fans to learn more about their teams as part of the 2019 San Jose State Basketball Tip-Off Dinner on Tuesday, October 23, in the Event Center.
 
Fans will have the opportunity to view both men's and women's closed-door practices beginning at 6 p.m. followed by a meet and greet with the players and coaches on the court. A dinner will follow beginning at 7:15 p.m. and both coaches and players will speak to the crowd to conclude the evening.
 
"We're really excited to be working with the women's basketball team to put on this event," Prioleau said. "It's going to be a great experience for our fans and look forward to giving back to them for all of their tremendous support."
 
Tickets for admission are $175 per person or $250 for a couple if purchased in advance. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $200 per person.  
 
"The tip off dinner is a great way for our fans to meet the players, new staff and to preview the upcoming season," Craighead said. "We are looking forward to seeing lots of Spartans fans there."
