This Week: The Spartans return home for the first time since August 30 to host Hawaii (4-1, 1-0) this Saturday at CEFCU Stadium.

Volleyball (5-6, 0-2 Mountain West)
Last Week: San José State went 0-2 to start conference play last week with a home loss to Wyoming last Thursday and a loss at Colorado State this past Saturday night.
This Week: The Spartans host two matches this week - Thursday against Utah State and Saturday against Boise State.
Spartan Fact: Freshman Whitney Barnes made her Spartan Gym debut by leading the team in kills with nine against Wyoming.

Women's Soccer (3-4-2, 2-0-0 Mountain West)
Last week: The Spartans opened the conference schedule with wins over Colorado College (1-0) and Air Force (1-0).
This Week: SJSU continues at home with matches against San Diego State on Friday night and New Mexico on Sunday afternoon.
Spartan Fact: Paige Simoneau recorded two shutouts last week and has four shutouts on the year and 26 saves.

Men's Soccer (3-4-1, 1-0-0 Western Athletic)
Last week: The Spartans opened Western Athletic Conference play with a 2-1 win at CSU Bakersfield Saturday night.
This Week: San José State continues on the road for two more WAC matches - at Houston Baptist on Friday and at UMKC on Sunday.
Spartan Fact: Eduardo Buenfil and Omar Lemus scored within the first 15 minutes of Saturday's match, and goalkeeper Alex Clewis was credited with nine saves.

Men's and Women's Cross Country
This Week: The Spartans have not competed since the USF Cross Country Invitational (Sept. 1), but will get back to action on Saturday morning in the Stanford Invitational.
Spartan Fact (Women): Junior Jennifer Sandoval has competed 13 times for San José State and has been the first Spartans across the finish line in every race.
Spartan Fact (Men): Junior Jose Piña, who redshirted the 2017 season, was the first Spartan across the finish line, third overall, at the USF Cross Country Invitational. It was his seventh top-10 finish in 15 career races.

Women's Golf
This Week: The Spartans return to action on Monday and Tuesday at the Coeur d'Alene Invitational hosted by Gonzaga. The team will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.
Spartan Fact: Natasha Andrea Oon won the individual title at nine-under par 207. She shot the best round of her young life on her 17th birthday with a five-under 67 in the first round.

Men's Golf
Last Week: San José State tied for fourth at the Golfweek Conference Challenge last week in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
This Week: The Spartans head to Washington for the Husky Invitational on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Spartan Fact: Sean Yu was the top Spartan at the Golfweek Conference Challenge as he tied for fifth place at four-under par 140. Kevin Velo was next with a two-under par 142 and a 13th place finish.

Women's Tennis
Last Week: The Spartans played at the UNLV Fall Invitational.
This Week: The team takes this week off and prepares for next week's Saint Mary's Invitational.
Spartan Fact #1: The doubles pair of Tamara Culibrk and Mathilda Vidgren defeated Southern Utah University's Daniela Cozzi and Alex Ngo, 8-3, in a consolation championship match.
Spartan Fact #2: Freshman Alba Pedrero Galindo defeated Northern Arizona's Elrene Granville, 3-6, 6-3, 6-1, in a third-place match.

Men's Water Polo (4-3)
Last Week: The Spartans split a pair of matches, winning 10-8 at home against Santa Clara last Friday, before falling 22-1 at #4 California on Saturday.
This Week: The team plays just one match this week - Saturday the 29th at Stanford beginning at 1 p.m.
Spartan Fact: Cade Baldridge scored the game winning goal and was credited with two steals in the final 2:10 of the match against Santa Clara.
