Stanford, Calif.----- The San José State University doubles team of Miyo Kobayashi and Savannah Sendar lost to the University of Oregon pair of Julia Eschet and Shweta Sangwan, in a round of 16 championship bracket match at the ITA Regional Championships women's tennis tournament hosted by Stanford.
The Spartan pair lost to the #2-seeded twosome in the tournament, 8-2.
Overall, Kobayashi and Sendar posted a 2-1 record for the weekend teaming together for the first time this season. One of their wins was against a University of Washington entry.
San José State is back in action, Friday, November 2, at the Santa Clara Invitational hosted by Santa Clara University.
