Long Beach, Calif.----- Tamara Culibrk, Miyo Kobayashi and Alba Pedrero Galindo remained unbeaten in singles action at the CSUN Fall Invitational.
Kobayashi was a straight-set winner over Roos Nederstight of Pacific, 6-2, 6-4. The win was Kobayashi's 132nd of her San Jose State career and moved her into a tie for third place with Sybille Gauvain and Sabastiani Leon Chao on the Spartans' career list for singles and doubles victories.
Pedrero Galindo needed a 12-10 tiebreaker to defeat Jolene Coetzee of CSUN after each player had won a set.
Culibrk won her match by default.
Matches were moved to Long Beach State due to the poor air quality in the Northridge area from the Woolsey fire in Southern California.
The tournament is scheduled to conclude on November 11 weather permitting.
