Santa Clara, Calif.----- For the second day in a row, San Jose State University had a strong performance in singles winning five of six matches at the Bronco Invitational women's tennis tournament.
Savannah Sendar, Alba Pedrero Galindo, Laura Malsert, Mathilda Vidgren and Kristina Baran were singles winners for the Spartans. Sendar and Baran won in straight sets.
Pedrero Galindo increased her tournament win total to four without a loss teaming with Tamara Culibrk on day two for a 6-4 doubles win over the Nevada pair of Selina Turulja and Maria Tatarnikova.
Savannah Sendar was a second Spartan to come up with wins in both singles and doubles.
The three-day tournament concludes with matches on Sunday, November 4.
