Men's Basketball (3-12, 0-3)
This Week: The Spartans host Utah State this Wednesday night before going on the road to play at UNLV this Saturday and at Wyoming next Wednesday.
Last Week: San José State lost at #10 Nevada 92-53 last Wednesday and lost 82-64 to Boise State at home this past Saturday.
Spartan Fact: Freshman Zach Chappell came off the bench with his best game at the major college level against Boise State. Chappell scored a season-high 12 points, dished out a game-high seven assists and was credited with two steals His seven assists in almost 29 minutes of action also was a personal season high and matched the most assists by a Spartan this season.

Women's Basketball (1-13, 0-3)
This Week: The Spartans play at Utah State Wednesday for a late morning game in Logan. The team then returns home for a contest with UNLV Saturday at 2 p.m.
Last Week: San José State dropped a pair of Mountain West games, 52-49 at home to Nevada last Wednesday and 99-68 at Boise State this past Saturday.
Spartan Fact: The Spartans had the third-best shooting game of the season at Boise State, making 43.8 percent of their shots of 28-of-64 shooting. The only better shooting games this season were in the team's 82-72 win over CSU Bakersfield when the Spartans hit 53.7 percent and in an 83-70 loss at San Diego where they hit 44.9 percent.

Women's Gymnastics
This Week: San José State travels to Southeast Missouri State for a dual meet Friday night.
Last Week: The Spartans scored a 193.050 on Sunday in a meet at Boise State with Air Force. The team finished second behind Boise State's 196.400. San José State recorded season-bests on bars with a 48.700 and beam at 48.800.
Spartan Fact: Taylor Chan has the top all-around score in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation after tying her career high with a 39.175 on Sunday. She led the Spartans on the bars (9.800), beam (9.825) and floor (9.800).

Women's Swimming & Diving
This Week: The Spartans are competing at the CSUN Fall Invitational this weekend.
Last Time: San José State swept Dixie State and the University of San Diego on January 5 at the USD Shootout. Madelyn Sailors won the 50 free, Gabriela Vieira won the 50 fly, and Shelby Mullendore won the 50 backstroke.

Indoor Track & Field
This Week: The Spartans travel to Albuquerque, N.M., for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Spartan Fact: Head coach Kendra Reimer-Gonzales begins her first season at the helm of the Spartan program. She spend the past four seasons as the head coach of the women's cross country and track and field program at San Francisco State. Her team won the 2018 California Collegiate Athletic Association championship, the first in program history.
