Folsom, Calif.—The San José State beach volleyball team swept all five matches of a dual at Sacramento State Friday afternoon en route to a 5-0 win and improved the team's record to 5-3 on the season.
The Spartan pair of Julia Golbeck and Sarah Smevog remained undefeated on the season at 8-0 with a 21-14, 21-18 win.
No San José State pair gave up more than 18 points in a set.
San José State continues play this Sunday, March 10, with duals against Saint Mary's and Stanford beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Stanford Beach Volleyball Courts. The Stanford match will be shown on the Pac-12 Network.
