Pedrero Galindo & Milojkovic Are Winners In 4-2 Loss To Pacific

San Jose, Calif.----- Alba Galindo Pedrero and Klara Milojkovic were San Jose State University's two winners in singles matches as the Spartans lost to the University of the Pacific, 4-2, in a non-conference women's tennis match.
 
            Galindo Pedrero picked up her 15th singles win of the season with a 6-4, 7-5 straight sets win over Pacific's Karina Vyrlan at #4 singles. Milojkovic also won in straight sets over Ioana Popescu, 6-1, 6-3.


 
            Despite Tamara Culibrk and Savannah Sendar getting the Spartans off to a solid start with a doubles win over Dohee Lee and Jacquie Tan, San Jose State lost the other two doubles matches to go into singles trailing, 1-0.
 
            Pacific's Maya Lopez closed out the match winning #5-singles in three sets over Laura Malsert, 7-6, 1-6, 6-1. The Tigers improved their record to 2-3 with the team victory.


 
            San Jose State (4-3) concludes a weekend homestand hosting Grand Canyon in a non-conference match, Sunday, March 10, at Noon in the Spartan Tennis Complex.
