Sacramento, Calif.----- San Jose State University all-time wins leader Miyo Kobayashi picked up wins in singles and doubles as the Spartans shut out Sacramento State, 4-0, in a non-conference women's tennis match.
Kobayashi defeated Sacramento State's Jenna Dorian, 6-3, 7-5, at #2-singles, the only singles match played to a conclusion.
San Jose State (9-7) picked up two singles wins by default and won the doubles point when Kobayashi and Alba Pedrero Galindo topped Dorian and Frana Ugarkovic, 6-1, at #2 doubles. Kobayashi now has 145 career victories at San Jose State.
The Spartans' win was their second in a row. Sacramento State dropped to 7-13.
San Jose State finishes the regular season, Saturday, April 20, at Nevada in a Mountain West match.
