Spartans Have Another Strong Day At SDSU Fall Tennis Classic I

San Diego, Calif.----- Three San Jose State university women's tennis singles entries and one doubles pair will be playing for championships in their respective flights on the final day of the season-opening San Diego State University Fall Tennis Classic I.
 
            Junior Klara Milojkovic, sophomore Alba Pedrero Galindo and freshman Rosalina Youseva each won their second singles match of the weekend tournament. Only Youseva was forced to three sets before outlasting San Diego State's Julie Jordan, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.
 
            The Spartan doubles team of sophomore Savannah Sendar and Youseva advance to a championship final with a win over McNeese State's Dalia Ahmed and Sofia San Jose Moreno, 6-4.
 
            For the day, San Jose State picked up six wins. Senior Tamara Culibrk won her singles match by forfeit. She later teamed up with Laura Malsert for a doubles win over Martino Lo Pumo and Ludovica Infantino of Grand Canyon, 6-2.
 
            After two days, the Spartans have 13 victories in their 20 matches.
 
            The three-day tournament with players from seven teams concludes on September 29.
