Stanford, Calif.—San José State shot its lowest score of the season Saturday morning with a six-over 290 in the second round of the Stanford Intercollegiate at the Stanford Golf Course. The Spartans moved up to eighth place in the team standings.

Kajsa Arwefjäll shot the low Spartan round of the day with a one-under 70 on the par 71 course. Starting the day on #10, she was two-over through her first nine holes. After a par on #1, she made back-to back birdies on holes two and three to get back to even par.

Arwefjäll then made her first collegiate eagle on the par-four, 390-yard fifth hole to go to two-under par. But a bogey on her final hole of the day (#9) found her at one-under for the round. She is now tied for 22nd at two-over 144.

Natasha Andrea Oon shot a two-over 73 and is tied for 18th at one-over 142. She had a birdie, 14 pars and three bogeys for her round as she finished with eight consecutive pars.
