Stanford, Calif.----- The San Jose State University doubles tandem of sophomore Savannah Sendar and freshman Rozalina Youseva lost their match to the University of Washington's Sedona Gallagher and Katarina Kopcalic, 8-6, in an ITA Northwest Regional Championships round of 16 championship bracket match at the Taube Tennis Center.
Earlier in the weekend tournament hosted by Stanford, Sendar and Youseva topped the #5-seed Elvena Gevargiz and Maddie Pothoff of Santa Clara, 8-5, and the Saint Mary's pair of Liesl Peters and Gabriela Tevez, 8-6.
San Jose State will wrap up its fall season hosting the San José State Fall Invite, Friday, November 8, through, Sunday, November 10, at the Spartan Tennis Complex.
