Teach 4 The Cure Hosted This Saturday, October 26

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the San José State women's golf coaches are hosting a "Teach 4 the Cure" fundraiser this Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Spartan Golf Complex.

For a donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, you get a golf lesson from either Spartan head coach Dana Dormann, assistant coach Pat Hurst or LPGA Teaching division member Kim Stevens while getting "inside access" to the Spartan Golf Complex.

The Teach 4 the Cure event was introduced last year by California women's head golf coach Nancy McDaniel who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015.  She felt the urge to help others facing the similar challenges she had while recovering from treatments. McDaniel is now cancer-free.

Now is your chance to raise money for breast cancer research while getting a chance to check out the Spartan Golf Complex and learn from your Spartan coaches!
