He went on to a second-place showing at the Alister MacKenzie with a 198, tied for the second-best three-round score in program history. Yu followed up that fantastic showing with a win at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational. He led wire-to-wire at the event, after opening with a 64 and then shooting a 69 and a 72. Yu currently leads the Spartans with a 69.50 scoring average. His round of 61 at the Alister MacKenzie is the second-best round in the NCAA so far this season.
