Darkness Cuts Second Round Short at Southwestern

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - The San Jose State men's golf team wrapped up the first round of the Southwestern Intercollegiate in the morning, but darkness cut short the Spartans' second round on Monday.

The Spartans will resume the second round on Tuesday morning at the North Ranch Country Club. The third round will begin immediately after. 

Out of a 12 team field, the Spartans sit in eighth place at 18-over with about a third of the their second round still to be played. 

Bryce Wortman, at 1-over for the tournament, leads the Spartans on the individual leaderboard in a tie for 10th. Sean Yu and Caleb Shetler, both at 4-over, are tied in 25th.
