Heng Takes Third in 100 Free; Spartans Wrap Up MW Championships

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.  –  San Jose State swimming and diving concluded their time at the 2020 Mountain West Championships on Saturday with six athletes competing in the finals. Gabby Heng highlighted the day with a bronze finish in the 100 freestyle.
 
Heng topped her time in the preliminary session as she tied for the No. 3 time on the all-time top-10 list with none other than her own sister, Brittany, (49.72).
 
Antoinette Loya (50.79) and Madelyn Sailors (50.95) finished 11th and 18th, respectively, in the 100 free.
 
Chloe Limargo topped her own time from last year's championships in the 200 breast for the No. 3 spot on the all-time top-10 list as she finished in the 10th at 2:15.51. Cali Rowland finished in the 20th in 2:19.10.
 
On the platform, Natasha Sondeno qualified for the final and finished 13th with a score of 231.05.
 
The Spartans finished the championships in ninth with 490 points.
