SAN JOSE, Calif. - Fresh off a come-from-behind series win over Creighton, San Jose State Baseball will look to keep the winning ways alive as they play host to the USF Dons for a Tuesday midweek nonconference contest. First pitch is slated for 6:00 p.m. at Excite Ballpark. The game will be streamed on the MW Network with Daniel Barrera on the call.

ABOUT THE DONS: USF enters the contest at 2-5 after dropping their last series 2-1 at CSU Bakersfield. The Dons are led by head coach Nino Giarratano in his 22nd season at the helm.
LAST TIME OUT: San Jose State put an end to the losing skid by taking the final two games from Creighton to win the series 2-1. Game three saw plenty of drama as James Shimashita blasted a 3-run homerun in the bottom of the eighth inning to take an 8-6 lead, however the Bluejays responded in the top of the ninth with back-to-back two-out homers of their own to retie the game. The Spartans then walked off in the bottom of the inning on a bases-loaded hit by pitch.
SERIES HISTORY: The Spartans have the upper hand in the all-time series record at 98-69-1. The teams played twice in 2019 with the Dons taking both by finals of 12-6 and 6-3.
