Albuquerque, N.M. - Competing in just its second conference indoor men's track and field championship in school history, the San José State men's team led the program's performance at day one of the 2020 Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships.
It was the men's distance medley team who led the Spartans, placing fourth among the 10 teams competing.
The foursome of Mikael Tyler, Iman Bayat, Luis Chavez and Jose Piña finished the distance medley relay with a 10:04.51 time for fourth place. Boise State won the race with a 9:54.00 clocking.
