Spartans Lose At Cal Poly, 4-0

San Luis Obispo, Calif.----- San Jose State University concluded its first week of women's tennis on the road losing to Cal Poly, 4-0, at the Mustang Tennis Complex on the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo campus.
 
            Though the Spartans' #3 doubles pair of Alba Pedrero Galindo and Rozalina Youseva were ahead of Claire Bouquet and Susanne Boyden, 3-2, San Jose State (1-2) lost the doubles point losing at #1 and #2 doubles.
 
            Cal Poly (4-0) kept the pressure on the Spartans in singles with three straight-set victories to win the match. Youseva at #2, Tamara Culibrk at #3 and Laura Malsert at #5 singles were on the losing end to their respective Mustang opponent.
 
            San Jose State is on the road next weekend traveling to Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz., for a February 15 non-conference contest. First serve is at 10:00 a.m. (MST).
