COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San José State sophomore Antonia Malate has been named the Mountain West Women's Golfer of the Week for tournaments played March 2-11. This is Malate's first career MW golfer of the month/week accolade.

- Competing at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational, recorded her first top-10 finish.
- Carded a one-over 217 to finish in sixth place, while helping lead San José State to fifth-place team finish.
- Started the tournament with a 71, tying her career low round, before setting a career-best single round with a 70 in the second round.
- Registered the second-best par-3 scoring for the event, averaging 2.83 strokes per hole.
- Finished the tournament with nine birdies and 36 pars.
