SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - San José State's annual non-conference meeting with Santa Clara will be postponed for a year as the Spartans' Friday night contest with the Broncos, originally scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. start, has been canceled. There are no plans to reschedule.
The cancelation comes due to an issue that prevented San Jose State's COVID-19 test results from arriving in time to play the contest.
With the non-conference slate officially in the books, SJSU returns to action on December 21, on the road against Utah State in the Spartans' Mountain West opener.
